Microchip Parade Special

It's a dog's life, enjoy it chipped!
Did you know the #1 cause of
pet death is getting lost?

After Katrina, everyone agrees strongly that pet identification is crucial for recovery. A pet should always have a collar with an ID tag on them, but collars and tags can come off. The only way to ensure your pet can be identified is with a microchip - and a microchip is only good if it is registered.

Dr. Ashley Geoghegan of Dr. G’s Mobile Veterinary Clinic saw firsthand the difficulty identifying pets in the aftermath of Katrina. She saw dogs sent all over the country to be sheltered, and witnessed the role microchips played in successful reunions months after the storm.

Sadly, some pets had microchips that had never been registered with the company that made them, and thus were untraceable.

Dr. G has teamed up with the powerful network of HomeAgain to provide a reduced microchip and registration package for your pet on parade day, February 10th, 2008.

For the reduced rate of $35, your pet can be micro chipped quickly on site and immediately registered into their national database.

"It only takes a minute to register your pet's microchip," Dr. G said, “and the chipping procedure is simple, routine, virtually painless, and it doesn't require any anesthesia. Your pet gets an injection just under the loose skin between the shoulder blades, similar to getting vaccinated. Most animals don't react at all.”

You can participate in this special promotion before the parade rolls at the registration area, or after the parade ends.

Come early, or stay late and ensure your pet gets HomeAgain if they get lost.
